Synopsis
The Garvey sisters are bound together by their dead parents and a promise to always protect each other. Sharon Horgan (Eva) is the sister of former Irish rugby player Shane Horgan.

What a nasty piece of work that brother-in-law John Paul is (a very effective portrayal by Claes Bang). There’s always one of those horrible, nasty guys in a family.
I just want to be a part of this wonderfully twisted family
So watching the sisters plot and stage John Paul’s demise is such a treat in the most macabre way! The magic lies in the genuine relationship between the sisters, the way they look out for each other and bounce off each other with convincing banter.
The added bonus is the bumbling insurance half-brothers who add entertainment value as they try to crack the mysterious case
I haven’t seen the Belgian version, but this British remake seems like it could stand on its own, thanks to the performances, playful direction and a script that has so much to offer after the first two episodes, enough to keep you hooked on this dark comedy thriller.
