Universe is promising & a welcome sight
The story makes care about the characters & the animation is top notch. Speaking on the animation the new "Tomorrow-verse" animation looked very cheap & flat, no life in the animation style or stories. The D. C. AU of great stories like : "Under the Red Hood", "Justice League:Dark" & "Superman:Doomsday" set the standard for quality comic book animation.
The art style is fun & vivid & well drawn
I collected all the animated movies of that time & i had no interest in the Tomorrow-verse, due to lazy writing & lazy animated art. But, Creature Commandos is a return to form for quality animation. I already care about the characters & the story is interesting. James Gunn is starting this universe right & making his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must watch list.
