Synopsis
It follows Morgan, a single mother of three, as she uses her extraordinary mind to help solve a crime while rearranging evidence during her shift as a janitor at the police department. HPI series (2021). Despite his very high IQ, excellent memory and extensive knowledge of the occult, Morgan makes a number of basic legal mistakes that anyone who has ever watched a legal TV show would know not to make.

For example, in the first episode, she retrieves a document from a locked safe at the suspect-victim’s law office that would never be admissible in court – illegally obtained evidence. Nor could it be used to obtain other evidence, a violation of the “fruit of the poisonous tree” legal doctrine. In Episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at a crime scene, and in Episode 3, she removes all documentary evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and making everything she removed disappear.
She is friendly and cheerful
HPI (2021) remake. High Potential is a fascinating new take on the crime drama genre. The main character of the series is a strong, independent, highly intelligent but vulnerable woman who raises three children.
Kaitlin Olson is fantastic as Morgan
The way the show develops its crime solving is interesting with some great comedic moments. She gives such a performance that you instantly love her character and want to know more. Judy Reyes and Daniel Suniata are excellent in the supporting roles.
It’s a strange hour of fun
Even the kids do well and add humorous moments to the show.
