Synopsis
The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed series follows Sam, a real-life Kansas native who, beneath the surface, struggles to fit into the mold and expectations of her hometown. As she struggles with loss and acceptance, Sam finds salvation in singing. It takes her on a journey where she discovers herself and a community of misfits who don’t give up, proving that it’s always possible to find like-minded people and a voice. The series explores themes of change and growth, despite all adversity.
